Architecture

This week i chose to do architecture I went around saline taking pictures of some of the newest Buildings (The High School built in 2004) to one of the oldest buildings (Curtis Mansion Built in 1785). I did this because it shows how architecture in saline has evolved over time.

Context

For this gimp assignment we had to put things in a picture that wouldn't usually be there. my theme was animals and i found many pictures of different exotic animals that would not be in Saline or near our school.

Light Painting

This week I decided to do my project on light painting. I went in my bathroom and took glow sticks and my phone and took pictures of them moving with a slow shutter speed.

Portrait Demo

During this assignment I learned how to take portrait pictures and how to use lighting while doing it. i also learned how to make the person in the image look better because of the lighting effects we used during this assignment.

Macro

This week I decided to do my project on Macro. Macro is a close up picture that shows details not often seen.

This is my best picture of an ear of corn I chose this picture because it shows each individual kernel of corn and the crevices in between them.
